The Soulful House Experience, Sydney's hottest dance music event of 2005 is really moving up in the world, literally. SHE is moving from hot King's Cross dance music club Lepanic to the established Yu on Victoria Road, Potts Point. To celebrate the move the Soulful House Experience team have signed none other than Soul Central, the artists responsible for this years biggest house track the ARIA top 10 "Strings of Life".
The Genius of Soul Central is unquestionable. Many DJs try and fail to revive dance music classics and fail but Soul Central hit a home run when they picked out Derrick May's 'Rhythm Is Rhythm' and wrote the "Stronger on my Own" vocal for the number one diva in dance music today, Miss Cathy Brown.
Kathy Brown has established herself as one of house music most prolific vocalists. She has written and performed on a string of club classics including 'Love Is Not A Game’, 'Give It Up', 'You Give Good Love' and 'Don’t Give Up' as well as co writing Gloria Gaynor's ‘Got to be Forever’, and recently released ‘Never Again’ on Defected.
